NYC Marathon for EMpower

Hi fellow runners, supporters and Emerging Markets enthusiasts!

As our group of 20+ runners is hitting the pavement to train for the NYC Marathon in 2025, we are not just chasing personal bests with new friends across GS and other firms - but we are also running for a much bigger purpose!

We are on a mission to support EMpower, a charity that has long been a champion for marginalized youth in EM countries. Learn more here: https://empowerweb.org/.

So, here's the deal: we are not just asking for your cheers and high-fives (although those are greatly appreciated too). We are asking for a little extra fuel to power our strides - in the form of your generous donations. Every single $ will go straight to EMpower's amazing local partner organizations who are dedicated to carving out a path for the next generation of leaders in EM (don't forget to tap into your firm's matching program)!

If you are in a position to give, you can directly donate to our team or you can pick a familiar face from the list of runners below and donate on their behalf.

To be clear, the donations are not required for our participation in the NYC Marathon. Every runner will qualify via various races in NYC during 2024. But, since we are already lacing up our sneakers, we might as well do so for a good cause!
